SUNSEEKER BACK ON BOARD FOR THE FOURTH YEAR RUNNING

For an impressive fourth year running, Sunseeker International will be taking the helm as principal sponsor for the Poole Harbour Boat Show.

For 2018, as well as being the ‘in association with’ sponsor, the British luxury motor yacht manufacturer will be returning with the ‘Sunseeker Sessions’ live music stage. A central feature at the 2017 event, the stage will showcase a great range of British performances with musical talent from across the region.

With 30,000 people attending in 2017, the south coast’s biggest-ever free to attend boat show will take place at the award-winning Poole Quay Boat Haven, running from Friday, June 8 until Sunday, June 10. The three day extravaganza will bring together a spectacular showcase of celebrity style yachts and motor cruisers, tall ships, marine equipment, watersports gear and clothing, with ‘Try a Boat’ taster sessions, fireworks, as well as a programme of free family entertainment.

Bryan Jones, marketing manager at Sunseeker International, commented: “Being Dorset-based we are delighted to be part of the biggest free boat show in the south. It’s a great opportunity for prospective new employees to meet our recruitment team and find out about what apprenticeships and career options we have available.

“For 2018, we’re also really looking forward to celebrating the launch of our new luxury yachts, Predator 50 and Predator 74."

“After last year’s record attendances, we’re expecting to see even higher numbers of boat enthusiasts descending on Poole Quay for the show and the ‘Sunseeker Sessions’ stage will be a real focal point on the quayside. I would encourage all visitors to come and enjoy some great music whilst enjoying everything the Boat Show has to offer.”

Poole Harbour Commissioners chief executive, Jim Stewart added: “We are delighted that Sunseeker is once again returning as principal sponsor of the Poole Harbour Boat Show. Sunseeker is an internationally renowned brand as well as being a cornerstone of the Poole economy. The ‘Sunseeker Sessions’ live music stage was a real highlight of the 2017 show and I have no doubt this year will be even better.

“It’s an exciting year for the port with the addition of the new South Quay expansion, and we’re looking forward to welcoming even more visitors to Poole.”
