The Poole Harbour Boat Show in association with Sunseeker is set to return to our shores with a bang this weekend, as the event organisers announce not one, but two nights of spectacular free firework displays.
The opening night display on Friday 8th June at 21:45 will kick-start a full weekend of free family entertainment and will once again be sponsored by local commercial property consultancy Sibbett Gregory, who have supported the Boat Show for the last three years.
Jonathan Sibbett, of Sibbett Gregory, said: “For the third year in succession we’re are delighted to sponsor the opening night fireworks at the Poole Harbour Boat Show. The show is free to attend, and everyone’s invited to join the festivities”
And new for 2018 is a second night of fireworks for all to enjoy on Saturday 9th June at 21:45, sponsored by Brittany Ferries.
Jim Stewart of Poole Harbour Commissioners, the event organisers said “The fireworks are always popular and once again we anticipate a large audience. Sponsorship is key to the success and growth of the Boat Show and we feel privileged that these two local businesses have decided to take part.”
With over 30,000 people in attendance in 2017, the show continues to be the biggest-ever free to attend Boat Show on the South Coast. The three-day extravaganza will transform Poole Quay to bring together a spectacular showcase of celebrity-style yachts, motor cruisers, tall ships, marine equipment, water sports gear and clothing. With ‘Try a Boat’ taster sessions and daring on-water demonstrations, as well as a programme of spectacular free family entertainment, the weekend really will have something for everyone!
